Ten Faces of Isaac
The Binding of Isaac, Ed McMillen’s gleefully grotesque Old Testament/Child Abuse/Matricide themed roguelike/zeldalike got an expansion yesterday. Wrath of the Lamb adds a big old pile of bizarre monsters, power-ups, rooms, challenges, achievements and probably other things to an already jam-packed game, so naturally I’ve been playing it all day wondering what in the Hell that thing does? I suppose I could look things up on the wiki but but finding out for yourself what things do is half the fun after all. The other half of the fun is seeing poor old Isaac looking increasingly monstrous as you acquire more and more items. As you can see above.
